Strengths:  Solid, steady and good design.
Weaknesses:  heavy, easy to scratch.
Review:  I bought this along with my new bogen 488RC2. I compared with 190xpro and I didn't hestitate to choose this tripod. It is heavier than 190xpro but surely give me a confident to mount my camera on it. The swing design is awesome and it surely worth the extra money for upgrade. I've to wrap the leg with food wrap to protect from scratching. It sound silly but it works.

Weaknesses:  The length of case band can't adjust. Not very smooth.
Review:  This my second tripod, better than my Kodak. Overall, it's a decent portability-focused tripod, for use when you just want to run out, easy setup and shoot. In that sense, it serves as a decent second or third tripod, but definitely not a primary. It's in black, can fit with my Canon 20D.

Strengths:  Light, sturdy
Weaknesses:  Pricy
Review:  This tripod is much lighter than Bogen 3221 I've already own. Adding a Markins Q3 ballhead still weigh less than 3221 legs alone. So light that make you think it's cheap plastic:) I would not hesitate to bring it with me on a trip. And it can support a 6lbs 4x5 Arca camera with no problem. I do not like the bubble leveler, I think it's useless.
