Description
The Ultra Pro series tripods feature a geared center column with an ingenius tension adjustment system. This is to prevent heavy cameras from crashing down when releasing the center column locking knob. Both the 757 and 777 are designed to be exceptionally sturdy and convienent for quick setup and adjustment. Featuring 3-Section Large Diameter Legs, oversized ergonomically shaped flip-lock controls and swiveling rubber feet. The 3-way Fluid Effect Panhead has tension adjustment on the tilt and pan as well as a spring-loaded pin on the quick release plate. The very smooth panning and tilting action of these tripods makes them ideal for film, digital or video cameras and camcorders. They are equipped with a Bubble level.

Great, Tall Tripod
Strengths: Smooth Movement, Rugged, Good Footing, Easily Adjusted, Locks In Tight
Weakness: Made in China-what isn't
This seems to be a great tripod. It has a 3-way pan-tilt mechanism, which works easily and smoothly. It looks and feels extremely sturdy, adjusts easily, and looks great in black. I could not find another tripod this tall (over 6 feet) for anywhere near this price. My old 54-inch tripod was not tall enough to shoot over a sitting crowd, but this one is tall enough to shoot over most standing...
