The G1325 (3 section legs) and G1348 (4 section legs) have no centre column so you can choose to purchase separately either the carbon Rapid (G1318) or aluminium Geared (G338) columns or video adapters (G1422 = 75mm or G1424 = 100mm). They are performance models, which enable the legs to be set individually at 24?, 55? or 80? for low angle shots.

Strengths: stability and light weight
Weakness: obvious is Price, leg locks ad when legs are put together..
Have had this tripod for about a week now. Used it a lot already. Extremely stable support for long telephoto lenses. Lightweight with the carbon fiber materials. Problem: I have is with its leg locks.. You have to make sure each one is tight before moving the next leg section.
