Strengths: Seems well designed for the job.
Weakness: Someone said the pads fall off in the heat of a car in summer but it is winter now here so i don't know about that yet but otherwise I see no problems.
Hefty enough to easily handle my Sony HDR-HC7 camcorder tho that comes to only 2 pounds even with the Sony VCL-HG1737C Telephoto Converter lens yet it feels ruggedly built enough to surely handle the 4 pound rating. I don't think you would need anything better in the way of a fixed camera support device unless you were using a big telephoto lens which really should be on a tripod anyway. Seems a...
