Slow Lens
Took this lens on nature trip to photograph whales. The time it took to focus, if ever, was abysmally slow and amazing moments were completely lost. It's just not up to par with what is promised. Very disappointed.

Multi-purpose lens
This is a great multi-purpose lens. I wouldn't say it's a must have but it is certainly cover a wide range of focal length, allowing a photographer (namely me) to capture anything from landscape to portrait to macro without a need of switching lenses. As
