I purchased this lens believing it would be on par with the stock 18-55mm kit lens of the 300D. Boy, I was I wrong... This lens is no where near as good as the 18-55mm lens that comes with the camera. Spend the money and get the better f3.5-4.5 version. That's what I intend to do.
