Very Nice Macro Ringflash

Strengths: High quality, accurate, many lighting options, manual operation, mounting options

Weakness: Shoe seems a bit weak

Sigma's very fine flash equipment has transferred to this ringflash. I suppose one could use if for general flash, but it's made for macro shooting. Sigma EM-140 DG TTL Macro Ringlight Flash

Strengths: Cost, Quality, 2 flash tubes.

Weakness: Not wireless... but it does not bother me...

Great Flash for Macro

Strengths: Creativity, flexible functions, strong flash light

Weakness: None

Sigma EM-140 macro ring flash is great for closeup photography. It has many flexible functions and provides a powerful flash. I mostly use the manual mode, which allows firing the left and right tubes separately and power adjustments from 1 to 1/64. It is fully compatible to my Nikon D200, and also uses a convenient source of power - 4 AA batteries. Highly recommend!
