Uniden surveillance systems
Strengths: Easy to set up. The right price. Does the job we need...but
Weakness: Software glitches. Customer support on bankers' hours with full voice mails.
It worked as advertised but wouldn't let us register it with the label info. on the back of the monitor. Customer support doesn't exist. If you did buy one, take it back before these guys apply for Chapter 11.

Almost a good camera
Strengths: simple to setup, plug it in and it works with monitor.
Weakness: PC software very limited. Sound not available when camera is plugged thru adapter to PC' This takes away most of value. Seems proprietary.
So far I have not been able to access it from generic PC camera software. The PC software included is very limited. When the monitor is plugged in to PC only one camera can be accessed, though the monitor can show 4 cameras. The tech support is also very limited compared to other cameras.

Great for the money
Had this system for 2 weeks. Researched it before I purchased it. Very east install and I called customer support twice with no problems. I even bought 2 more cameras from Uniden and they gave me 10% off just for asking. The night vision of course isn't as good as the day but its as good as any out there. I was surprised how good it was. I have it set on the lowest motion detection and it still...

Do not waste your time...
Be sure to read reviews before entertaining purchasing this system.. If you need to contact Uniden for tech support or missing parts you are in for a rude awakening.. I spent a week trying to reach Uniden.. They will put you on hold and never come back to you.... Customer Service needs a total over haul... Horrible!!! The cameras work fair in the daylight, but the night vision has very poor...
