This camera generally works as advertised. Setting up this camera is similar to setting up a wireless router. So one needs to be familiar with the networking aspect. The picture resolution is however just average and makes it hard to see the details of objects more than 15 feet away. There is a problem with the RTSP protocol, which only works with the default port number and in the local network....

Strengths: Innovative, includes night vision, as well as two-way audio, wireless, built-in server eliminates the need to be plugged into a computer
Weakness: Had difficulty setting up the wireless connection, audio out requires headphones, powered speakers, or other audio receivers (no built-in speaker)
This is the next step short of the fully-featured loaded product, which is essentially the same as this unit, plus motorized remote pan and tilt. If you don't need the motorized pan/tilt then this device has everything you need. The night vision IR LED's and camera is a great feature for dark environments, either as surveillance, baby monitor, etc. The picture is pretty clear, even in low-light...
