Camera is well made for beginners
Strengths: Very small, easy to operate, extremely easy to connect to PC using firewire cable, can record to computer directly if connected
Weakness: Its MiniDV and if you can afford higher price, get the hard disk one, when connected to computer the video playback is shown on the DV Camera's LCD screen, large file size when recorded to computer
This camera is small and sleak. Its easy to operate and good for beginners like me. I bought it from etronics for 150 bucks with 25 MIR and hence its very good value for money. I would have preferred something with digital storage, but again this device is definitely worth 130 bucks. The video quality is good and its very easy to connect it to computer and make movies. Weakness: Not super sharp result
Samsung SC-D382 is an affordable camcorder for everyday use. It has 2.7 LCD, a compact design for easy handling and long battery life. However, I noticed that the pictures to be a little grainy. I dont find it as sharp as my old Sony camcorder. Overall, it is one of the most economical camcorder out there that performs a decent job. You surely get more for what you pay (around $150).
