Great for the price

Strengths: can shoot in 16 x 9 mode, sound quality, zoom very good 34x, easy to learn, easy to use

Weakness: camcorder did not come with firewire cable, hard to attach battery after recharging

High Resolution Camcorder

Strengths: Good resolution

Weakness: Blurry LCD screen

I like the camcorder with campact size and light weight. The price is good for the camcorder with all basic functions. The video quality is good. But the LCD screen seems blurry to me. I don't like the battery system for the camcorder. There is no good indication when the battery is charged full and it requires a seperate battery to run the timer.

Nice camcorder...would like USB support

Weakness: No USB support

This camcorder has good battery life, if light, and easy to use. The major drawback is that lack of USB support. I was not able to get this to connect to my PC, as my PC does not have firewire, or the ability to support a PCMCIA firewire card. I tried a firewire to USB converter cable, and it did not work :(

great Camera for the Price!!!

Strengths: Price is super attactive, easy to use, simple all around camera

Weakness: Kind of flemsy

I bought this camera from amazon for 180.00 shipped. No Tax in CA. Very reasonable in price and in function. Quality is pretty good, overall very happy. I recommend it to everyone.

Overall Good Camera; a few bugs

Weakness: Bad battery life, no USB cables to connect to PC, sometimes goes blurry randomly

I got mine over one year ago, and it was working pretty good, until I lost my dads seperate usb cable and there was no way to connect it to my PC,and I could'nt put any of my tapes onto it. Fun and easy little camcorder for anyone to use!

Strengths: Compact, good picture, strong optical zoom, built-in light, very light-weight and decent battery life.

Weakness: No USB - firewire only, auto focus has some trouble in dark scenes.

This little camcorder packs enough features to make it well worth the low price. I especially love the small size and light weight. The only major weaknesses are things that can be expected from most lower-cost camcorders. Overall a great buy if you don't expect more than what you pay for!

Good lower end camcorder

Strengths: Lightweight, good LCD, good zoom, good recording.

Weakness: Tape ejects from the bottom of the unit, Plastic feeling

The camcorder is functionally very good in recording and playback. The picture is recorded very well even in room light. The LCD is good sized and sharp. The camcorder fits in very well in the hand and is easy to use. It is not a professional level camcorder. It has a plastic feel to it. Generally easy to use, good starter level camcorder.

For what I paid it is a good value. I really like that it has a light. I wish the battery lasted longer. Like that it has a fire wire connection.

For a fun camera that's decent quality and not pricy this is the one. Good-looking camera as well. You can buy a few of these for the price of some of the other camcorders.
