ZR-950 MiniDV Camcorder is a good buy
Strengths: Very compact in size for a good value. It comes with 48X optical zoom and 2000X digital.
Weakness: Standard battery only last about one hour. Really recommend buying the extended battery.
I would really recommend purchasing this Canon ZR-950 miniDV camcorder. Good brand with good value. We have been searching for a good camcorder with a good value and found this ZR-950 after checking other buyer reviews and recommendation from Best Buy representative.

This product has Great Qualtiy and Resaonable Price. It is light and easy to carry. It has a remote control making it is easy to control. I recommend it to the people who can not afford too expensive products.
Canon ZR-950
Strengths: Great zooms, quality, the wireless controler, bacicly everything
Weakness: Needs tapes to record video (but tapes make the video high quality)
I got this great camera a week ago and it is realy easy to figure out. I bacicly have it all figured out. If you want to buy this great camera, I recomend that you buy some mini-dv tapes, and a fire wire cable (if you don't) so you can import video to the computer.

Strengths: Great, small, easy to use, first camcorder, easy on the wallet price
Weakness: have not found any real weakness. I guess one has to be careful not to drop or break off the view finder, buy an extra battery
I am really impressed with the ease of use, easy to learn how to use this camcorder. I researched many camcorders in this price range and this one I choose. I am NOT disappointed one bit.
