Canon EOS Speedlite 430exII
Strengths: Used this flast for 2 weddings and for friends chistmas parties during the last 12 months. Very reliable but does need good batteries - have used Ansmann 2850 recharagebles which are quick recyclers
Weakness: Buttons a little fiddly to convert to manual
Can be used as a slave but needs either the expensive canon st-20 or pocket wizard or the new 7D but is used alone is an excellent fully adjustable bounch and swivel and manual flash that I would fully recommend
