It is definitely worth the money to upgrade to the Rotatrim Pro series. It cuts with pinpoint accuracy and leaves perfectly clean edges. The blade runs so smoothly that it is a pleasure to use.

Great trimmer, well worth the expense.
Strengths: Smooth, precise, solid, portable, fast and dependable. I dont know why I put off this purchase so long.
Weakness: Trimmer cuts only in one direction and it is a little pricy, but once you trim your first print, both weaknesses fade away. Neither weakness was a deal-breaker on buying this workhorse.
I'm a professional photographer doing in-house printing. I don't know why I drug my feet for so long on making the purchase of this trimmer.. As soon as I removed the trimmer from its box, I knew I had made the right decision. Rotatrim has it down to a science! Within minutes I was trimming a stack of (20) 8x10 prints.
