Easy to use point and shoot
Strengths: Portability, very good pictures indoors and outside during day
Weakness: Touch screen a little hard to use, night time pictures with flash
Very good camera for people who don't want to set their own functions and just leave it on auto. We have been using the camera with automatic settings and are very satisfied with indoor pictures and pictures in daylight. Night pictures with the flash are not as good. not too bad but will probably be phased out by newer/more exciting cameras in 6 months...
Strengths: compact and easy to use; touch screen
Weakness: cannot rotate like the nikon coolpix, although this is smaller in size... would think sony can do better than nikon
not too bad for a compact, easy to use camera. the huge almost exclusive touchscreen has its advantages and disadvantages for those who prefers one or the other. they downgraded the 5x zoom from the previous model but with the 10.1 megapixels... it really doesn't make much of a difference for the everyday individual. the only thing i don't look forward to is that in 6 months this model will...

THE GOOD: Attractive design; useful feature set; fast performance. THE BAD: Nearly too small; touch screen not for everyone; soft photos. THE BOTTOM LINE: The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T77 is a fun, fast ultracompact, but its almost too tiny for its own good.
