Great camera. Easy to use. Many things you only expect on high end prducys of other manufacturers. You can use any Pentax lens ever made. Use all your old film lenses. AA Batteries ... use Eneloop Rechargeables which have similar performance to Lithiums.What not to like? Well ideally I would prefer a Pentaprism .... but its a cracker. This is my second Pentax .The k200d is nice. The pictures are clear and sharp.the dust removal works good for me.the 2.7 LCD is nice it lets me see more detail on the pictures and vivid colors.The body of the k200d fills very solid not like other SLR that fill like Plastic. Strengths: Water/Dust resistant. In-body shake reduction. Ergonomic and most usable user interface.
Weakness: No second dial.
This camera is priced as an entry-level model, but it has the feature and capability of mid-range DSLRs. In fact, I would say it is K10D without the second dial beneath the shutter release button.
