Like a small computer. It does so many things, you don't even need to use some of them to take great amateur shots Perfect for a family. Features allow you to take great pix in a large variety of situations from dark to light, parties to scenery. DEFINITELY worth the under $200 price tag!

This is my forth digital camera and was purchased for my wife. It is a MAJOR disappointment. The photos are poorer in quality than a cheap Sony I compared it with side by side or an old 5MP Olympus. The photos it takes look terrible compared to those from my Canon SD800 IS It is slow to record and the photos are just sort of "mushy". The corners are particularly fuzzy. if you have kids dont buy this camera. its slow and it does not capture good pics if you have kids. its bulky and expensive. i recommend better the kodak M1033. much nicer and faster.
