Strengths: Awesome screen...very easy to see what your taking you're pictures of, as well as the results. Lots of different shooting modes, too.
Weakness: I would have liked more zoom capabilities.
This really is a great digital camera. It is light, compact, and quite easy to use. It's also very stylish! The quality of the pictures are very good and the included software from Olympus makes it very easy to organize your pictures.
Strengths: Beautiful small size design, extremely easy to use, rechargeable battery and it's many functions.
Weakness: Image too light when shooting up close and not enough optical zoom.
It's my 1st digital camera and so far it's been a wonderful conversation piece since everyone loves it's small compact design. After charging the battery (after taking it out of the box) I didn't feel intimidated with all it's different functions. It was pretty easy understanding almost everything...though I must admit that I still need to read more on some of the other little functions in which...
Strengths: sooo SMALL!! Big LCD.. MAny Functions.. Sweet Design
Weakness: pics Easily blurred without proper stabilization
I think this camera is HOT!! very big screen on the back and many fun functions.. Design is a conversation piece and the quality of the pics are amazing!! buy this camera!!
Strengths: slick nice.... and great quality pictures AND video capabilities.
Weakness: don't have enough explanation of features n' options. Got to look through Pdf files grrr!!!!
this camera is so neat........ fast & user friendly, except for some icons appearing on the LCD U'VE got to wonder what it means he he he!! oh .. and nice large LCD ! TRY IT... it actually looks like a phone until you... really look at it THAT CLOSE!cool!
Strengths: small, cheap, 4mp
Weakness: no view finder..not like I will use it close up seems blurry with flower mode xD memory....not comment
best bang for the buck! 4MP, under 200, cant beat it!! if you are in need of a camera, and dont care much about quality, this is the one! easy to use, small, big LCD, you have a winner..

The Olympus Stylus Verve simply is an eye catcher and a feast for the eyes. The Olympus Stylus Verve performs great concerning the noise ratio. The images are bright and clear and the excellent macro function does its job fantastically. A strong trump, rich details and a fabulous resolution. With a waterproof housing, a fantastic design and the user-friendly operation Olympus seems to offer the...

By now, you have probably already been exposed to the flood of advertising surrounding the Olympus Stylus Verve. Television commercials, print ads, and the repetition of the phrase, “find your verve,” all created a growing marketing buzz for arguably the year’s hottest digital camera. The sleek shape and shiny contours of the Verve’s frame (along with the promotional barrage) propelled...

I'd say the Stylus Verve is best suited as a "secondary camera" -- one that you can take anywhere. For more "serious" photography, I'd probably pick something else. But for a fun, compact camera for casual vacation photos, the Stylus Verve gets a thumbs up from me.

When we first saw a prototype of the Olympus Stylus Verve digicam back in early September, we were quite impressed with its style and operation, as we shared in our "First Look" review of it. At the time, we liked its image quality as well, but refrained from commenting on this, given our sample unit's prototype status. We've now had a chance to look at a production model of this camera, and are...

Olympus Stylus Verve - Silver 4.0
Strengths: Very stylish, compact, light weight and weatherproof!
Weakness: Weak flash.
The major flaw that I noticed was trying to take vertical pics on this cam. Being that the flash is somewhat weak, when you turn the cam vertical, you turn the flash to the side (either to the left or right side)...therefore, causing a shadow on the side of the object that the flash can't cover. Basically, you'd have to stick to taking horizontal pics (when the flash is centered on the object).
