Kyocera seems to be making strides in their subcompact digicams. I frankly wasn't terribly impressed with their S3 and S4 models, but the S5 has significantly improved image quality and color rendition, and the battery life seems to be better as well. It could really use a noise-reduction system for long exposures, but overall the new Finecam S5 is a very workmanlike entry in the subcompact...
