Strengths: very good photo quality, large optical zoom , easy to use
Weakness: no obvious weeknesses except a little heavy for me :)
I am very satisfied with this camera, The 10x optical zoom is very cool and very useful. The photo qulity is decent good , very bright. The autofocus time is relatively long, expecially in light-lack enviroment, takes 3-4s. The battery duration is good. One charge can take about 300 photos in LCD open mode. So far so good, a good product with the decent price.
Strengths: Very Easy to use.
Weakness: The lens adapter is almost useless. It vignettes up to almost 45-50mm. Looks like you are looking thru a tube.
I have 4 digital cameras, and this is the best camera I have for flash photography. It does not blow out your subject at close range. Camera produces excellent color. The 24mm wide angle lens is wonderful, except for the lens adapter issue. I do wish the camera had anti shake. All in all, it is a wonderful camera for both new comers and advanced users. Lots of manual controls. I highly recommend...
Strengths: wide angle (24mm), bigger lens (52 mm), excellent image quality
Weakness: kodak raw image format has hardly any industry support
p880 has excellent features wide angle lens(24mm-140mm), 2.5 inch lcd, 52 mm lens gives good pictures even at night, includes manual focus, for the features and lens size this camera is light weight. i'm very happy with image quality. on the negative side the continous auto focus feature drains battery, makes annoying noise and can't be turned off in most of the modes. kodak's raw image format...
Strengths: excellent color raw file format 24mm wide angle lens
Weakness: slow raw processing unattractive appearance
underlooked camera for the money 24mm wide angle is much more versatile than 10 times zoom unless you need this camera for sports very good image quality apart from the much more expensive and larger sony, and older nikon there is no other non slr digital with the wide angle lens that is so useful for the majority of photo situations
Strengths: Semi professional camera, the zoom range is quite sufficient for several occasions, from parties to landscaping to medium tele photos. Hot shoe for external flash is a plus.
Weakness: Uses proprietary rechargeable battery. Manual zoom a bit hard to turn. Lens cap spring clip doesn't offer good grip for removal.
I decided to buy the P880 after a lot of comparing with other brand camera in the same category. This camera offers a very good quality/price edge. The control buttons and menu interface are quite familiar once one have owned an EasyShare camera. The P880 has 2 extra programmable buttons which can come in handy if we need to take picture in a repeat special condition. The lcd screen is much...
Strengths: This is an outstanding camera, very easy to use, great zoom, we had the 7590 before upgrading and this is worth the extra money. I would also get the dock!
Weakness: I cannot think of any weaknesses for this item, we think it is the best Kodak has put out. Maybe a little large but not really a weakness.
Kodak's EasyShare is a more advanced offering than the typical EasyShare model,it has expanded exposure and doesn't compromise usability in its Auto or Scene modes. The P880 offers just about every degree of exposure control that more advanced photographers could want! The Share menu for tagging images for printing, downloading, and emailing is great!
Strengths: It's very easy to use, zoom effect is fast and outstanding.
Weakness: so far I haven't found any, maybe a little pricy(paid around $340 before tax), but we love it.
Although in current Camera market, Canon/Nikon are pretty dominant in marketing, Kodak is still one of our favorite product since the film age. It's easy to use. We are not professional photographer, so a good quality Kodak is more than enough for us. BTW, the LCD is large, 2.5".
Strengths: There is practically no photographic situation that you cannot capture and do it as simply or specifically as owner desires. Realistic color. RAW file format extends options. Lens quality.
Weakness: Camera defaults to Standard JPEG when shut down or mode is changed. Annoying continuous auto focus. Long TIFF writing even with upgraded firmware.
If you're looking for an automatic, point-and-shoot camera, this model will be overkill even though it does such pictures very well. If you want to have complete control, a myriad of options, and love to work on photos after they're shot, it's for you. Be sure to download and install the firmware upgrade (easy) which solves some of the more commonly mentioned problems (especially shutter lag time...
Strengths: good 8mp RAW, Manual Zoom and Focus camera
Weakness: The auto focus sometimes hunts in low light and low contrast situations
One good this is that it has an improved video mode. This camera even has a "Bulb" mode this is where you can set how long the shutter stays open by holding the shutter button up to 60 secs, helpful when the 16 maximum programmed shutter opening isn't long enough.other than this picture quality is very good...

The EasyShare P880 is not your typical Kodak camera. Yes, it's still easy to use, and sharing photos is a snap, but this Kodak camera also has an 8 Megapixel CCD, impressive 24 - 140 mm lens, full manual controls, large LCD, two ways to attach an external flash, and much more. With a street price in the low $500 range, the P880 offers a whole lot of camera for relatively little money -- and thus...

The Kodak EasyShare P880 is the flagship model of the manufacturer’s new Performance Series. The 8 megapixel digital camera was announced in August 2005 and released just in time for the holiday shopping rush. With its 1/1.8-inch CCD and Kodak Color Science Chip, the P880 has SLR-like qualities while still being marketed as easy to use. While it is SLR shaped, the wide 24-140mm (equivalent)...

Kodak's EasyShare line of digital cameras has long been a favorite among a wide range of consumers, as the cameras typically live up to their name. While a considerably more advanced offering than the typical EasyShare model, the expanded exposure and creative control of the new Kodak EasyShare P880 doesn't compromise usability in its Auto or Scene modes. The P880 offers just about every degree...

Kodak P880
Strengths: Easy to use, intuitive controls, full manual capabilities, RAW, 24mm lens
Weakness: Shutter lag, slow to autofocus, significant image noise at 200 and 400 ISO, slow buffer
I love the wide angle feature...great for landscape shots, especially when using the landscape scene modes. The color and clarity of the images is really good; much better than I expected from a point and shoot camera. The full-manual features, the manual focus ring, and the ability to capture RAW really sold me on this camera. The video capture feature is good as well, and the audio is pretty...
