Strengths: Light weight, easy to use and a lot of extras that make using this camera fun.
Weakness: Have yet to take a good picture inside a viewing barn during the summer 4H activities. It seems they all turn out way to dark. But I could be doing something wrong.
Last summer and fall I toured the Boundary Water Canoe Area in Minnesota on several occasions taking this new fangled digital camera along. I also took my trusty Canon EOS Rebel as well. I have to confess, the rebel was clicked only once. The Kodak did not have enough zoom to focus in of a pair of moose cows I spotted. I found the camera fast, easy to use and quick to respond when turned on. I...
Strengths: Great photos, ease of use
Weakness: Orange battery clip latch keeps breaking, beware!
Just as all the others have stated, my camera has had the orange battery clip break two times so far. I bought this camera in Dec 2004 and I RArely use it...probably 14 days of use all year. I have taken the battery out only 6 times, and the clip broke two of those times!!! I am VERY careful with my camera. This is just a cheap part. The first time it happened was within the 30 day period that...
Strengths: Easy to use Great picture quality
Weakness: Manual lens cap Battery lock breaks often
I bought this camera back in February but writing about it now. I no longer own this camera for the reason at the end of this review. I did my reasearch and read reviews and this came out as a great buy for the features (6 megapixels + SD card) and user results. I agree that this does take great pictures and is easy to use. They apparently went to a lot of trouble to make the on-screen menu easy...
Strengths: Soooo nice to use -easy operation - great results!
Weakness: Find it a little small to be totally comfortable.
This is my third digital camera purchase and the best one by far. My first was an early Kodak Digital, next a Canon and now back to Kodak. I find this camera gives really excellent results with a minumum of fuss which is especially handy when photographing in the field. The close up has given me the ability to accuratly photograph small obects with great clarity. LOVE THIS CAMERA!
Strengths: Nice pictures.
Weakness: Battery latch broke the second time I tried to open it.
Exactly 26 hours after I recieved my camera, the little piece of plastic that holds the battery in place cracked. I only opened the battery slot twice. I am so disappointed. I mean, who knows what else is going to break next. Kodak should examine its quality control procedures. When I contacted the customer service, they told me that I am responsible for half of the shipping charges. What a scam?
Strengths: Very easy to use
Weakness: Manual lens cap
This camera is great! It is so easy to use and isn't too small or too big. I'd prefer an auto lens cap instead of the manual that comes with the camera. That is very minor though. The features are plentiful and are pretty much self explanatory when using. The pics are so well defined. Don't leave on the highest setting unless your taking a portrait because high res takes up a lot of memory. Buy...
Strengths: Lots of features.
Weakness: Broke in two days.
The little piece of plastic that holds the battery in place cracked. Not all impressed with the engineering and poor construction, should not easily break merely just opening the lid to insert a different SD card.
Strengths: A great point and shoot camera. Has more controls than I can shake a stick at, or just go auto and let the camera do it's thing. Pictures are great and the camera is very easy to use.
Weakness: Only complaint I have is the camera needs a hot shoe.
For the price you can't go wrong unless you are a professional. For the average picture taker this is a very nice camera. I would recommend this to anyone.
Strengths: GREAT CUSTOM AND ADVANCED/MANUAL FEATURES I STILL HAVE NOT FIGURED THEM ALL OUT!! USES WIDELY AVAILABLE AND CHEAP SD MEDIA I FOUND A 1GB CARD FOR ONLY $69.00
Weakness: ON THE OTHER SIDE IT DOES NOT USE NOR BENEFIT FROM HIGHER RATED FASTER SD MEDIA. STARTUP TIME IS GREAT AVAILABLE LENS ARE ALSO GREAT. 320*480 VIDEO IS VERY SMALL
I PUCHASES THIS CAMERA TO GO ON MY TRIP TO EUROPE FOR THREE WEEKS, I BOUGHT 3 EXTRA BATTERIES IN EBAY FOR $27.00 TOTAL!!! I ALSO BOUGHT A GB MEMORY CARD FOR $69.00 ON BUY.COM. I AM WAITING FOR THE TELEPHOTO, LENS ADAPTER, AND WIDEANGLE LENSES FROM AMAZON.COM. THE AUTO FEATURES PRODUCE SUPERB IMAGES, THE MANUAL FEATURES ARE ENDLESS. THE OUTPUT FROM THIS CAMERA TO MY EPSON R200 ARE UNMISTAKABLE...

In our round-up, nearly every camera here took good pictures. If size is a factor, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P150—with its compact form, light weight, and 7-megapixel pictures—should fit your needs the best. We really liked the Casio Exilim EX-P600’s striking and innovative Ex Finder, but for the same price, we prefer the Canon PowerShot S70’s pictures and RAW capability....

Kodak's EasyShare digital cameras are consistently among the easiest to use of any I test, and the DX7630 is no exception. Its fully automatic exposure control performs surprisingly well under a variety of conditions, and the range of manual exposure controls extend the camera's capabilities nicely. A wide range of preset scene modes help with special shooting conditions, while the Custom mode is...

Awesome Camera, Poor Manufactuer
Strengths: Ease of Camera, beautiful picures
Weakness: Kodak's poor customer service as well as their repair shop's rudeness and unprofessionalism.
The camera is wonderful, the maker, Kodak, as well as their repair company, United Camera, is very unprofessional and frustrating to work with. I bought this camera about a year ago at a very discounted price. It was the only one at the large retail store I purchased it from so I was under the impression it was either a return, 'last one' item, display model, etc. I bought it and thoroughly...
