Strengths: Instruction & menual in the camera, phtoto editing function in the camera, big & bright LCD
Weakness: very slow in the darkness, fast battery consuming
I got this camera for my boyfriend before, he absolutely loves it. The best thing about this camera is that it has instruction in the camera..you don't need to find your paper instruction when you have a question about functions. Also, it tells you how to fix your pictures for better qualities by different settings.. Plus, it has photoshop function in the camera, so that you don't need to...
Strengths: Great resolution (8.2MP), sleek body, large 3 inch screen.
Weakness: Some noise, can only be charged though the dock, same with transferring images.
Well this camera has lots of good features right off the bat, like the large 3 inch LCD and 8.2 megapixels. The body feels nice in your hand too. The big problem is that to charge the camera or transfer pictures, you have to go through the dock. The actual camera does not have a USB connection, only a port for the dock. The picture quality is a little so-so also, lots of noise. Overall the camera...
Strengths: Lots of features, large LCD, takes great pictures!
Weakness: No viewfinder
I bought this camera to replace an HP r707 that was left outside in the rain. This camera is very similar but with some great upgrades. It has a few more features in terms of "mode" settings, and has a much larger screen which is very easy to see- great for showing others your pictures in-camera, and it's 8 megapixels instead of 5 like the r707. It also seems to hold more pictures in the highest...
Strengths: FAST startup time, great in-camera features for cleaning up photos & applying effects to them, gorgeous large screen (with instructions in full english sentences), intuitive interface & buttons.
Weakness: Weak flash, takes dark photos, flash is in awkward spot, requires the included dock (2-pieces, fragile, and requires 3 cables) to charge the battery & to connect to a computer.
This is not a digital camera that I would really recommend to anybody. Although there are a few good features, there are some MAJOR dealbreakers with this camera. Then again, what would you expect from a company that specializes in printers, not digital cameras? First, the good news: 1. Incredibly fast. You can take a photo in less than 1 second of turning this camera on. I have not seen this...
Strengths: 3" LCD screen is great for folks with poor vision or who just like a large screen.
Weakness: Battery life is unimpressive.
I only considered this because it has a 3" LCD & I needed a digicam with this large screen size. There aren't too many other non-SLR, relatively inexpensive cams with this feature so that automatically limited the field of options. I decided to go with this over a comparable Canon model based on reviews & the fact that I've had multiple HP cams in the past & have never had any issues with them....
Strengths: This model is very sleek in design and has, by far, the best overall image quality for 4x6's all the way up to large poster sizes. You'll never guess that this camera takes such great pictures
Weakness: There are definitely a lot of features and if you are not a tech and gadget savvy person, this may not be the best camera for you. It looks simple, but there is a lot more to this camera.
This is a camera that has some spectacular photo quality to it. I am a film camera person and swore to never use a digital camera because of the low quality, but this camera in particular made me change my mind. I have used this camera at my friends place and it is quite impressive. With such simple style and design, it appears to be a very plain camera with not much until you get into the many...
Strengths: Vivid images, larger LCD, dock
Weakness: long processing time
The camera over-all is great. It takes amazing pictures and the large LCD screen makes it easy for you to see the picture you have taken. The camera also has a lot of built in photo editing features, like slimming, cartoon, and others. The one major drawback is the long processing time in between pictures. If you only plan on taking still shots of adults then its no big deal but if you need to...

There's a lot to like about the HP R927, including a stylish but sturdy stainless steel body, 8.2 megapixel resolution, a huge 3-inch LCD, and good overall speed for a consumer camera, including virtually no shutter lag when you pre-focus. The HP R927 is also very simple and intuitive to use with an easy-to-read menu system and a straight-forward layout. Best of all is the HP R927's revamped...

If you’re looking for a high-resolution point-and-shoot camera that gives you an array of controls and creative options, the HP Photosmart R927 is a good choice. But be prepared to wait for your special effects to process, and to recharge the battery more often than other comparable cameras.

Has a 3-inch LCD and performs in-camera panorama stitching, though this can be slow. Camera dock included.

If you want a camera that's easy to use and takes photos best suited for small prints then I'd recommend looking at the Photosmart R927. If you're going to be making larger prints, the noise and purple fringing will be an issue, so I'd probably look at other cameras. Same goes for those who like burst modes: since the camera's LCD is dark during continuous shooting (and there's no optical...

Despite the well-known instant gratification that digital photography offers, many manufacturers overlook one critical aspect: editing. Most cams can resize and recolor, but how many allow creative manipulation? Enter HP’s Photosmart R927, the latest entry in its R-series of cameras that helps you lose ten pounds—instantly! At least your photo can look that way with this camera’s Slimming...

HP R927 Digital Camera
Strengths: Good color, very easy to use, large view screen, good pictures (still and video), informative menus and only weighs 8 ounces with battery and card installed.
Weakness: When taking a picture the view screen is very grainy. This is not so when viewing pictures that have been taken. Very hard to hold steady when in telephoto mode.
I have played with the camera quite a bit since receiving it. The only real draw back about the camera I received is the sound level when recording a video. One other thing. You really need to rest the camera on a solid base or use a tripod in telephoto mode. Other than that I am pleased with the camera.
