Strengths: Small, can fit in pocket for on the go. You can make movies with it, depending on your memory. Can take a decent 8/10 photo.

Weakness: To many to list. Really bad taking pics inside, all my photos are dark and dull. Flash is useless, red eye reduction doesn't work at all. Eats up batteries.

Well, as I mentioned I bought this camera actually a year and 1/2 ago, and after buying the memory card, and the rechargeable AA bateries (4), its a must to keep the other two fully charged and ready to go. Strengths: Inexpensive, 3X Optical Zoom, good quality outdoor pictures in bright condisions. Life span. I've taken with about 13000shots (!), and it still works correctly!

Weakness: -No manual controls except ISO, and EV-compensation. -Very weak, un-usable flash. -Very high luminance noise, even at ISO 100. (Only luminance-noise, color-noise is acceptable until ISO200)

Not so bad on the whole, but there are better cameras in this category. The GUI is uncomplicated, everybody can can use it, at first sight. Nearly useless in ver-low light, camera can't focus, pictures are blurred, sometimes it doesn't flash when flash function is on, the video-quality is catastophic, the worse what i ever seen, especially in dark. (sorry for my bad English!)

Strengths: Inexpensive, 4MP with 3x optical zoom. Build-in video clips recorder.

Weakness: Not so far for this price.

This is an average performance , inexpensive camera for home use. Its 4 MP CCD is more than enough for 3" and 5" photo prints. The best thing I like is that this camera is capable to take video clips, although resolution is not good, but still a good backup when videocam is not available.

Weakness: design is not so pleasing, big, shutter lag makes it not suitable for action photography, low light pictures are not good

This is a good camera for beginner and older people, as it is very easy to operate and learn. Photo quality is good outdoor and not so bad indoor when sufficient light is present. Low light indoor pictures are not so good. Also it is not suitable to take pictures of events where timing is important due to shutter lag. This is a fairly nice camera with a good interface and standard features like 3x optical zoom. its 4 megapixel resolution is good enough for great 8x10 prints and the camera takes nice pictures outdoors in sunlight. It used SD cards for storage and they are fairly inexpensive as well. It takes standard AA battery but it is strongly recommended to use rechargeable batteries since they drain out...

Strengths: Small,large LCD screen, easy to use,inexpensive,lightweight

Weakness: flash is useless

It is easy to follow quick start and menu. Battery life on the camera has been impressive. I think this camera is ok for taking still shots on a sunny day, the pictures come out good. But I would not recommend it for action shots or regular indoor use.

Ease of use is essential and the HP M407 is the epitimy of a user freindly camera. We have used the camera almost every day since we recieved it. It's light wieght, high quality and fun to use.

Weakness: Image quality can be bad depending on the light

The best part of this camera was the price. I bought it at Office Depot on clearance and it also had a rebate, so it was a steal. However, you get what you pay for, and this camera is no exception. Strengths: Anyone who has used Hp photosmart cameras of earlier models can use this one with ease.

Weakness: Huge software size and load up time .I liked earlier models better.

The size is compact and easy to store.Only 2 batteries is a plus.Better picture quality than most cameras.Picture almost as good as a regular camera.
