Strengths: Uses 4 AA batteries, rechargable NiMH or Lithium Ion types are fine. Does NOT need an exp hi-speed card...a 1 to 4 GB SD card works fine. Takes great, clear pictures. Logical placement of buttons.
Weakness: Megazooms are heavier than pocket sized caameras. Only uses jpeg format.
A long zoom is what's been missing from my previous camera, and now I have that option for long-range and panorama shots. Shots with low light or the built-in flash require a little patience, but normal light indoors and out creates great shots from this camera. Awesome camera
Strengths: Large bright display screen, and its plethora of features.
Weakness: The Manual it comes with is basic,but it does come with a more comprehensive manual on disc which I would like in hard copy.
This camere is loaded with features, among them are its ability to shoot pictures in black & white, super macro zoom, crop and rotate pictures in camera and these are what they don't tell you about in its feature list. I would recommend this camera to everyone... I just received this camera for my birthday and am still playing with it.

Strengths: Zoom, quality of construction, picture quality, macro zoom, ease of use, and face detection.
Weakness: Slow shots at times. The thing takes time to zoom and think. I like rapid shots sometimes. I havent played with it much to see what the options are.
Love the camera overall. Great zoom, big display screen, eye hole for bright days when you cant see the screen, takes great clear pictures. I hated my old camera! It's totally worth it.

I have had my camera about a week now. I have taken it through most of it's paces. The manual settings are great but take some time to learn. I have taken photography classes so that helps. But as I stated earlier the low light performance can be a problem. Camera performs well for the most part
Strengths: Takes great pictures at ISO-200 and lower. Easy to learn and operate. Love the 12x optical zoom. Take great close ups clear across the gymnasium.
Weakness: Two slow a shutter response for fast action sports. Pictures have a lot of digital noise at ISO-400 and above. Not usable at ISO-1600 because of noise.

Strengths: Great camera with amazing features! Pictures come out clear and amazing. The optical zoom is great for zooming in on subjects without the graininess usually seen on digital zooms.
