Strengths: For its price and picture resolution this is an excellent product. Battery life even with AA alkaline cells is good.
Weakness: The lens cover which is also the on/off switch is somewhat inconvenient to use. When turning the camera off it hits the lens barrel to initiate retraction.
The camera quick start manual was enough to get to know the essential features. We were up and running within 15 minutes of opening the package. At normal resolution and with flash operating the color quality and contrast seemed to be somewhat below what would qualify as being excellent. Outdoor shots were excellent. There are many features that one has to learn to use by reading the detailed...
Strengths: Light, easy to use, nice for first digital camera.
Weakness: none yet, but if you want to store pictures with more megapixels, you might want to get a bigger memory card.
Great little camera! Haven't had any trouble with it yet. I used it on my trip to New York City, and I got great shots! Its easy to put them on your computer, too! I'm glad I got it.
This camera is a great first ditigal camera for anyone. It takes great pictures. Is easy to use. Very affordable. Sends pictures easily to your e-mail addresses. Has a built in lens cover. Can be used with 2 AA batteries. And is compatible with most ditigal printers.
Strengths: 4 megapixels at a great price!
I did a lot of comparisons in teh 4 megapixel arena and this Fuji gives you so many extras for the lowest price. It's a bargain at this price and with technology advancing so rapidly, it allows you to buy now and upgrade later without the big investment.
Strengths: Very easy to use, takes great pictures
Weakness: Batteries don't last very long, but they don't in other digital cameras either
Overall, this product is great for a first-timer. I have no experience with digital cameras, but I was able to use and operate it easily. For the most part, I was able to perform most functions on the camera, not using the instructions. Great purchase with a great price.
Strengths: Picture Quality in Bright and Moderate Lighting, Ease of Use, Comfort Grip and Right Size, Battery Life, Price
Weakness: Slow Shutter Speed, Night Shots Blur even with its Night Modes
I first owned the Fuji Finepix 3800 and loved it until some lady ran into me in NYC and bumped my camera. It didn't fall to the ground or anything but the lens did not move and I could not turn it on. So why would I buy another Fuji? Basically, I had 3 XD Picture Cards and didn't want to change media. So I bought this entry level Fuji at 4 megapixels (the A330 is cheaper but I figure let's move...
Strengths: Easy to use, functional, great point an shoot
Weakness: Doesn't have a recargable battery standard
I bought this camera for my daughter as a gift. She was up and running in 10 minutes and taking pictures with ease. I was pleased that the camera is not 100% plastic and seems to be well constructed. It is also very light weight. I have looked at several cameras in this price range and found this one to be an excellent value, and also highly rated by owners on other online review sites. I would...
Strengths: Good optical zoom, A good camera for a starter
Weakness: should come with more memmory
Good optical zoom, A good camera for a starter.should come with more memmory atleast 256 mb so that we can store more pictures. Also the auto focus takes bigger background instead on zooming the object on focus, but the clarity is pretty good and it is easy to use
Strengths: Compact, easy to use, good looking, only needs 2 batteries, fast startup, good flash control, lens protected by sliding cover, dust resistant
Weakness: Hard to get a shot that isn't blurry, tends to shoot dark
I had Fuji cameras for work (2.0 megapixel A210?) and it was a great camera. Bought this one and although i like alot about the camera, it really hurts it that you have a hard time taking a shot that isn't blurry. I really like alot about the camera, but this really spoils things... so much so I may trade up to a Canon A85. Thats too bad - the A210 was a great camera... will give this one more...

Fuji FinePix digital cameras have always been associated with good image quality and color, with solid performance even at the lower-end of the line. With a 4.0-megapixel CCD and 3x optical zoom lens, the Fuji A340 offers the same point-and-shoot convenience as Fuji's earlier entry-level models, but with greater flexibility thanks to its four preset scene mode and longer maximum exposure time, as...

Strengths: Very colorful pictures, easy to use.
Weakness: Lag time inbetween shots.
I took this camera to the Philippines and when I showed my friends the pictures they all asked what kind of camera I had. My only bad experience is my wife's daughter used the camera and lost the XD card. I bought a new XD card and I was getting a "Write Error" and "Card not intialized" I formatted the card, same errors. I brought camera and card to Best Buy and they said my options were to send...
