I love this camera. It's small enough for pocket. it can be used in many occasions. It has a nice large LCD window that seems bright enough. It's given me sharp and great pictures.

Weakness: somewhat subpar workmanship, no optical viewfinder

It is small and cute. So far so good. I am pleased with the quality of both pix and movies. I used Fuji F10 before I got this one. I like that Casio has many useful pre-programmed shooting modes. One problem is that USB connector does not fit well--you really need to push it in, and then apply force to take it out.

Strengths: Its a very durable product. I owned one before and it lasted 4 years. Those days 2MP were happening. The flash isnt the best, but it makes up for its resolution and slim size. Fits easy in your pocket.

Weakness: Its a bit bigger than the older version. The older one was great to take to clubs and bars due to its ultra slim size; Fits easily in your back pocket.The zoom isnt the best either.

I definitely think that 10MP is idea for any occasion (trips, clubs, excursions). For me smaller is better when you travel or go out with friends. You never know when you wish you had your camera. With this its so small it fits in my back pocket.

Casio EX-Z1080BK

Strengths: Good Company Excellent Resolution Good Price

Weakness: Only 3X Optical Zoom Flash

I purchased this camera as an introductory level camera for my 15 year old daughter. I needed something that has a relatively high resolution and a point and shoot capability. This camera also has face resolution technology which is a nice feature. The durability of the camera is yet to be determined.

Solid camera

Strengths: Loooooooong battery life. Works well in low light. Easy to use. Quick capture.

Weakness: On/off button is too small. A lot of "Best shot" options look interesting but not really helpful.

I bought this camera for my mom because she lost her old camera. It is a nice camera. We don't really use the 10M resolution, but the pictures do look amazing in Hi-Def. Some designs could be better, but overall, I am glad I bought it.

Nicer than expected

Strengths: Small and cool Vedio function, YouTube ready to upload.

Weakness: Color is not very close to the nature. Maybe too complicated for such a small camera.

Overall a nice camera. And it is cheap for 100+. Bought from SEARS online searched all the stores around. It worth it. What else? Would like to have another one if available.

Not satisfy at all

Strengths: the Shutterspeed better than Sony DSC-W7

Weakness: Color of the pictures is bad. video is crapy

I had Sony DSC-W7 for 3 years, so I like to upgrade with a new DC, so I saw alot of good comments on Casio EX-Z1080, so I got one, but I'm so disappointed. If I give Sony DSC-W7 6/10, then I would give Casio EX-Z1080, 2/10. sometime I guess can't believe all the reviews online. I will return this Casio EX-Z1080 back, with 15% restock fee:(
