Strengths: Large 3" LCD screen, Digic III processor, screen image flips according to orientation camera is held in, compact design.
Weakness: No optical viewfinder (= smudges), proprietary battery, no battery meter, no image stabilization.
For a regular use point & shoot camera, this is about as good as it gets in terms of picture quality. The 3" LCD is great for folks who are a bit far-sighted. I found the user controls to be intuitive, even if the buttons were a bit difficult to physically manipulate. Its compact design is obviously a bonus; you can easily put it in a pocket; even with a soft carrying case it does not take up...
Strengths: The graphics on this camera is just amazing. There is no way anyone would be disappointed with it. 3" Lcd a favorable assest.
Weakness: The only thing it does not come with a cloth for the lcd screen and I do find that you cannot help but to get fingerprints on the screen.
I'm new at using a digital camera but I do know that I reached and found this on to be the best on the market right now. I know I mentioned that large 3" LCD screen.
Strengths: Picture quality; Small size; 3 inch screen; Stylish design; Fast start up/very litte time until 1st picture and in between pictures
Weakness: No optical stabilization
The SD750 is a great camera. It's not too expensive, and is easily as good, if not better, than some pricier cameras. It's very very small. The 3 inch screen is beautiful...I wouldn't even consider a camera without it. It doesn't have a viewfinder b/c of the big screen, but I would never use it anyway. Menus are easy to use and understand. Some people complain about the IPod like scrolling, but...
Strengths: Large viewing screen, very lightweight, extremely easy to use, takes outstanding pictures, easy to use zoom, good battery life
Weakness: The case that I purchased separately from Canon is a little bulky. Since the camera is so compact one would expect the case to be as compact.
I bought this digital camera as a retirement gift for my wife. This is her second digital camera. The old camera is a Canon also. Her major complaints concerning the old camera were the lag time between shots and the weight/size of the camera in her purse. My wife hates to read directions so this camera meets all her needs. It can be used after receiving a few verbal directions. The view screen...
Strengths: slick design, large LCD, excellent photo, good movie quality.
Weakness: No view finder. LCD gets dirty easily.
The SD750 is a replacement for SD630, I believe. It has a 3" LCD. The design is really attractive. I initially bought a SD1000, but returned it because the 3" LCD on SD750 looked so much better than the 2.5" LCD on SD1000. Also, the SD750 is a lot more stylish than the SD1000. The SD750 is slightly larger/heavier than the SD1000, but it's still very compact and will fit in almost any pocket you...
Strengths: State of the art DIGIC III processor with Face detection technology and a cool auto flip(rotate) photo when you turn the camera clockwise or counterclockwise (just like the iphone). Crisp images.
Weakness: Does not have an optical viewfinder. Uses a proprietary battery. Virtually impossible to pick up the camera without smudging the LCD
SD750 include a 3.0-inch "PureColor" Multi-level LCD display, 8 picture modes , and 10 scene modes instead. The SD750 has 7-megapixels of resolution, a 3x optical zoom lens, a VGA sized movie mode as well as Canon's new Face Detection AF/AE/FE technology. The SD750 does not have a Real-image optical zoom viewfinder which I think is a drawback (what if the LCD conks out????). The "ultra-compact"...
Strengths: Small-sized camera with whopping 3 inches screen.
Weakness: no image stabilization or Vibration reduction (VR) The multi-function control button is somewhat difficult to use.
The goods: The camera is amazingly easy to use. If you already familiar in Canon Point-and-shoot type, you will have no problem using it without reading the manual. Bright 3-inch screen will help you see the image more clearly even in the day light It was face tracking auto focus (AF) to make closest face sharp in the image. ISO 1600 will reduce blur image when shooting in low light condition It...
Strengths: Takes really good pictures, great LCD screen, good compact size.
Weakness: Horrible Lens.
I bought this camera and as soon as I took one picture it gave me a lens error. I tried to restart the camera just like the manual told me to but it would not turn back on. I tried for about 3-4 hours and finally gave up. I checked online at some other reviews and found that this is a common problem with this camera. The problem usually occurred within the first 6 months and Canon will not...
Strengths: Amazing photo quality, the vivid settings, and outstanding quality!
Weakness: None. This camera does it all.
i love this camera. i couldnt get a new one if i had to choose. its has amazing quality and its great. it doesnt take much time between pictures either.
THE GOOD: Nicely designed; excellent high-ISO photo quality; relatively fast; above-average movie quality; face detection. THE BAD: Photos tend to have purple fringing; no optical viewfinder. THE BOTTOM LINE: The Canon PowerShot SD750 has an attractive design, large LCD, and excellent photo quality for an ultracompact.

Nice to look at and nice to shoot, the Canon PowerShot SD750 is another in a long line of pleasing Digital ELPH cameras. Its 7.1 megapixels offer enough to give you a basic range of enlargements, including 11x14 inch prints. The Canon SD750's 3x zoom is just standard, not stunning, but it's great for most travel shooting and its f/2.8 aperture and ISO 1,600 setting can help in low light. A large...

On Friday we reviewed the stylish Canon Digital IXUS 80 IS compact digital camera. Now it's the turn of the Canon Digital IXUS 90 IS (also known as the Canon Powershot SD790 IS). This brand new model offers more megapixels (10 to be precise) and a larger 3 inch LCD screen, but loses the optical viewfinder of the IXUS 80. Priced around £260 / $350, Gavin Stoker discovered if the Canon Digital...

In February 2007, Canon announced the PowerShot SD750 and SD1000 digital cameras to replace the older SD630 and SD600 models. Don’t let the numbers fool you: the SD750 is the fancier camera with its 3-inch LCD screen compared to the SD1000’s 2.5-inch LCD. The Digital Elphs both have 7.1 megapixels and Digic III image processors with face detection technology. <p>

Superb Camera
Strengths: Huge 3" Screen. Easy to shoot. Nice looking.
Weakness: No image stabilization to reduce handshake.
Very light weight, so it is very portable. It is easy to shoot and see what you just take. Even though there is no image stabilizer, the quality of the photo is still perfect.
