This nwer XSI is great value compared to the Nikon camera. Although the XSI comes with a standard IS lens, the lens is slow and doesn't focus well but it's included in the kit now as Image Stablization. IS kit lense make the difference

This is my first DSLR and just got back from two week honeymoon in Costa Rica and absolutely delighted with its performance. After reviewing the 800+ pics my wife and I have received so many compliments on the image sharpness and vibrant coloring. I'm a family photographer, taking photos of my kids and family. This was rated #1 Digital SLR in C.R. and it is a great camera. I highly recommend this if you want to go with a digital SLR camera.
