As all Nikon products we have owned over the years, this battery charger is a high quality product. It is easy to use, charges quickly and fits easily into most camera bags for storage. I highly recommend this product.
Strengths: can charge anytime. Do not need to wait for battery to drain totally.

I lost the original charger. So I ordered this replacement. Takes about 1 to 2 hours to charge a drained battery. Works good. One good thing is that the input voltage is from 100V to 240V so I can bring it for travelling to foreign countries. Have yet to try this out.
Strengths: Charger, when it works, is fine.
Weakness: Plug prongs fold down, great for compact storage but may cause bad connection. I have to fiddle w/the plug carefully to get it to connect.
I have one of these as original equip with my Coolpix 775. I am buying a replacement charger because it's so frustrating to get this to work. The plug has to be positioned just so or it doesn't connect, and sometimes this takes a long time, then you can't jostle it or you start all over again. Probably this is just bad luck, but I thought I should warn people of this potential problem.

Its a battery charger and it works fine. I need to fill this with 30 words but it is just a charger, you plug the battery in and it charges it. Not too exciting.
Strengths: Very quick charge. It only took 1 hour.

I am very pleased with this product. It exceeded my expectations in every way. When it only took 1 hour to charge my camera battery, I was very pleasantly surprised. And the charge was held for a long time. This is a great product and I would trust them and buy again in the future!
Nikon Coolpix Battery Charger
Strengths: Flashing status light indicates battery state.
Weakness: None observed
The unit does it job of charging batteries. The flashing indicator light shows the status of the battery. Once fully charged the indicator light glows steady showing that the battery is fully charged. The unit protects the battery from overcharging, although it is always a good idea to remove a battery from a charger, once the process is complete. This is the second charger that I own.
