Strengths: Small, compact and easy to use.
Weakness: Battery life is short if used for a few hours continuously.
Please make battery that would last longer before being recharged. I find it hard to buy original batteries from Nikon authorized dealer with reasonable price. There are lots of generics with different specs out there. Quite reluctant to get them as its voltage might be different.

I purchased the EN-EL5 as a back up for the battery that came with my Nikon Coolplex 5200 camera. In this way I'd never be without power while in a remote shooting situation. I highly recommend the purchase of this battery for all Coolplex 5200 owners. Never leave on a shoot without it.
