Strengths: Well made and easy to use once you remember to place the adapter on.
Weakness: It would be nice if the adapter wasn't needed inorder to use the len.
Seems like the flash mode doesn't function using the lens indoors e.g. fill mode very dark. Maybe I haven't made the proper adjustments yet (trial and error) I plan on using this mainly outdoors. This was a good buy.
Strengths: Easy to use, well made
Weakness: Somewhat heavy, dark spot when used with flash (read below)
I have the Kodak DX7630 and I can now get much more in the frame with minimal investment (purchased for around $50). The lens is made of metal (aluminum) and the glass makes it about as heavy as the cameras battery. The lens also requires an adapter specific to the camera you have, to allow for the 37mm size. Well, what can I say other than they do not lie when they say WIDER IS BETTER because WOW. I was extremely impressed with this attachment simply because you can actually see SO MUCH MORE. I am not a camera expert and the Z760 is actually my first own camera, so I was kind of skeptical about this so-called "wide angle lens". My assumption was that the image would somehow have that fishbowl view...
