Eventhough its about an year old model but the picture and video quality is comparable to the one of the latest models available in the market today. Strengths: 1080i 60fps HD video, HDMI output, 4.0MP still pictures, 10x optical zoom, image stabilization.
Weakness: HiDef recording time per disc. Low light recording.
This is an awesome HiDef camcorder. I purchased a 3 pack of filters to go along with it and I've been really impressed with the picture quality. The colors are vivid and bright. As with most HiDef camcorders, low light situations are grainy, so I'll probably invest in a lamp to attach to the accessory shoe on top of the camcorder. I wish the miniDVDs would hold more video: 15 to 35 minutes HiDef...
