This is a great camcorder. I have had it for almost 8 months and from the day I got it, it has always been a awesome camcorder since I got it.

Weakness: Heavier than I anticipated. Camera/Player switch is a bit awkward for larger hands.
Straight out of the box, the TRV318 is pretty easy to setup and use. The user manual is a bit thick and probably chock full of features and options I haven't stumbled upon for those who like reading manuals.
