Stay Away
Strengths: Able to place disc in dvd player after recording (after fussing around w/ multiple types of media!)
Weakness: You pick, this is probably one of the worst buys I have ever made. I bought right before a family trip to disney, lost two days, because of read/write errors.
Tried to get some of the video off the dvd's w' errors w/ no luck. Samsung has horrible cust. service, told me just to try a memorex dvd's. Basically - Bad camcorder, not worth the price, or trouble.

Poor video quality, not satisfied
Strengths: Lightweight, records to mini DVDs or memory card, easy menu
Weakness: Very poor picture, Bad color, does not record well in low light, auto focus does not work well
This camera is not worth the money. I have tried TWO different units and both of them are very poor performance. The picture quality is very low grade. It feels like I'm watching a home movie from the 1990s when camcorders were first out. In fact, I would prefer a camcorder like that to this one.
