Strengths: For it's size, this unit packs a real punch!
Weakness: No zoom, but what do you expect for $300!
This unit is incredible for a variety of reasons; it’s a pocket-sized piece of electronics that records digital video, stills, voice/audio and plays MP3’s – all wrapped up in one. The AV10 also comes with a 64MB SD memory card, which are about the size of a postage stamp. Actually I’m planning on buying another SD card (256MB) not just for more storage - these cards have fast data rates...
Strengths: Cool looking, small, good MP3 quality
Weakness: very poor digital quality
I bought this little device as a way of getting an affordable digital video system, but I was extremely disappointed. The digital stills are highly distorted, with a curved-like appearance because of the lens. The moving digital is extremely primitive: choppy with motion and sound not synchronized at all. OK for Web cam fun but way below standard quality. If you want good MP3 quality (and...
Strengths: smallest digital video cam anywhere. Great price.
Weakness: jpgs are low-res. video frame rate low. included editing software stinks.
This is not a replacement for a video camera, but for capturing first-person sports videos it's hard to beat .. especially for $350. You can put this camera places that you'd never put a regular video camera! Frame rate is a little jerky, but easily good enough for sending video emails to friends. Get a 128M SD-Flash card and you'll have 40 minutes of video time at the highest quality (forget...
Strengths: very very small
Weakness: video quality
I like it a lot... I take it everywhere.... but if you are looking to replace you actual video camara or picture camara it with forget it ... It does not the best video quality, no ramdom option on mp3 player,no way to convert video ASF to another format so it can be copy to a DVD... Is great for sharing via internet... The quality of the video is the quality of a internet video..It will never be...
Panasonic SV-AV10 Ewear A/V Recorder/Player
Strengths: Size, ease of use
Weakness: Quality
I knew going in that this product was not going to take super high resolution videos and photos, so I was not disappointed with the quality. Buy it if you want a cheap all in one solution that is easy to use and you can take anywhere. I got it as an open box at Circuit City for $189, their list price in store was $269.
