Strengths: Well the video is alright it zooms faily well. and its point/shoot.
Weakness: the video/audio play back is terrible. Maybe it is my machine or something but the audio cant seem to keep up with the video it began skipping after i played back the scenes a few times, and wont stop
I would like any feed back if at all any. i want to keep this machine but if the audio can not keep up then i will be highly disappointed. Let me know. KSKS

when I was watching what I had recorded I noticed a "white noise" in the background, even when people were talking. The motor/fan on this camera is so loud that it really distorts and videos you take.

Strengths: It works and it's cheap ( I got from Bestbuy for $289). Easy mode is easy and the camera does have Manual Settings. No Still Mode.
Weakness: Low light ability is non existent of course. No Microphone input. Does not come with Firewire cable(but this seems normal). Heavy Back Lighting causes artifacts.

I really thought I was getting a good deal. Never thought anyone could manufacture a camera like this. It is horrible. The digital noise, very bad picture. You wouldn't ever know that it is 525 lines of resolution. My Sony Hi 8 is 20 times better than this crap. I am taking this Canon ZR100 back and it might cost me, Very bad camera.
