Strengths: Small, lightweight, easy to use
Weakness: Picture quality not great if not enough lighting
This camera is perfect for what I need it for. My husband is in Iraq and I use it to take pictures and video of my son. I then email to my husband. This is also our webcam so its perfect for us. Me and my husband have one.
Strengths: light weight,compact,easy to use
Weakness: needs more lighting
I bought this camera for my 17 yr old son for Christmas. He loves it ,takes it everywhere he goes. He rides BMX bikes. He has made a complete video of bike riding and tricks. It turned out awesome. So good he is going to use it as a sponsor video. Thanks for making this camera-its perfect-price and all. I paid $129.00 + tax + CF Card.Total under $200.00.
Strengths: very small in size, cheap price, digital, easy to hook up to TV and computer
Weakness: poor quality pictures if lighting is bad, poor quality videos if it isn't VERY bright, can't zoom when recording
When I saw this tiny camcorder, I had to get it. For the price and what it claimed to do, I was sold. I'm still debating whether to take it back to the store and return it, though. I'm very disappointed with the fact that the video quality is AWFUL unless you have very bright lighting, and I expect more than that from a camcorder... Also, it said on the box that it zooms. Well, it failed to say...
Strengths: Small "pocket" size, good quality stills for price, easy spur of the moment voice recording, uses AA batteries, uses CF card.
Weakness: "Plasticiky" look and feel, 10fps video is internet quality only
I wanted a small digital camera to carry in my pocket for spur of the moment photos and because of the price I was expecting only adequate quality from this camera. Instead I was surprised to get good quality stills when taken at the true 2MP setting of 1600 x 1200. Audio quality is also good although not crystal clear (slightly distorted), video is only a toy, small internet screen use only. I...
Strengths: Price was fantastic! Size is superb! Features make price and size a 3-for-3 hit!
Weakness: Case is made of thin plastic (battery door comes off a little too easily), no optical zoom (but macro focus lens makes up for it), short battery life
Thinking I was going to Wal-Mart to buy a Vivitar 1.3 megapixel camera for $87.84, I stopped with my wife at BestBuy to see what they had. We looked at their webcams to see if they had a handheld form-factor like the Vivitar for less than $100. After a few minutes, I was leaning toward the $60 Aiptek 1.3 megapixel pencam. Then we saw the $99 Aiptek DV2 (2.0 MP) handheld 3-in-1 cam. Then my wife...
Strengths: small, cheap, multi-function, long battery life, good tv and computer connectivity...that's about it!
Weakness: cheap, nearly impossible to turn off, lousiest viewfinder since the brownie(They had better ones...)
I read about this product in the San Diego Union Tribune and wasn't satisfied 'till I finally found it. (Tried several stores and bought it) Was drawn to its size and multifunctionality under the umbrella of a low price. It didn't take me long to figure out why it was so cheap...To its credit, I still use the photoimpact software for jpg picture-making. This summer I brough it with me to...
Strengths: None
Weakness: Does not work
Camera came with large scratch on top and stopped working in less than one hour after we started using it. Now it has been very difficult to contact the vendor. I had to call Am-Ex to try and stop payment. Also I have to pay to ship it back to them. Do you believe this!
